It's only a 2 hour drive but in that time you really are in a different place. The Alberni Valley is perhaps the most breath-taking and unique location on the Island. Further along, pause for a few moments walk at Cathedral Grove. Cathedral Grove is home to some of the largest ancient trees in the pacific northwest. You can spend hours walking throughout the enormous trees and gawking at the lush forest....But don't get too lost, the next stop is The Hummingbird!
