Fireside Room

We've made it home to Islamoranda, Florida Keys, and were thinking of the great time we had in Port Alberni. The Lady Rose was a wonderful adventure and one that will always be remembered. We took your advice and visited the Little Qualicum Falls and the Stamp Falls, watched the salmon go through the ladder and saw our first, wild, black bear. We also hugged the majestic old trees in Cathedral Grove. Ron & I got to see the Island from Victoria up to Port Hardy/Telegraph Cove. Everything was spectacular, however, our time at Hummingbird Guesthouse was the best find on the whole Island. Your graciousness and hospitality, the most comfortable stay in the Fireside Room, and expert knowledge of the area insured our stay nothing less than the best.
